Suburban rv furnace not igniting.
If the thermostat in your rv controls only the furnace then turn the setting to the on position.
The furnace makes a clicking sound twice after moving the thermostat to on but the blower does not start and the furnace does not ignite.
Fan is running but furnace produces no heat.
Hi folks just brought home my first rv a 2013 roo 183.
So the removed the furnace.
As a result the vent will work but no heat will be produced.
It has a 35000btu suburban furnace.
The fan and a c have the same controller as the furnace.
Consequently i have no heat.
Unlike the roaring noise described above the squealing noise isn t that common but it s still an issue.
The blower will not kick on.
It s march and i m in alaska so it s a little chilly.
The furnace blower must run for 30 seconds after it comes on for the burner to fire up.
They both work fine.

Getting to the gas valve on suburban furnaces is a real pain not so bad on the atwoods but you still have to check it not simply throw parts at it.
The dsi is an acronym direct spart ignition it s an electronic igniter that uses a spark ignites the gas air mix.

To test a suburban gas valve you are going to have to pull the working parts of the furnace out of its case.
The blower on my suburban furnace is not coming on.
I have a 06 bighorn 3600rl.
By the way never take a gas valve apart unless working as part of a demolition team.
They were not able to get the blower to work.
The exhaust is an air outlet on the exterior of the rv that exhausts the gases produced during the combustion process the gases are a combination of carbon dioxide and carbon.
When i activate the furnace at the digital thermostat i can hear it click as normal but the blower does not come on.
I can hear the electronic ignition kick on.
When you raise the thermostat to a warmer temperature the furnace blower will turn on after about 30 seconds.
The problem is when the blower works and the heater doesn t ignite it is the board inside heater it will have to be pulled out and replaced it is inside your heater unit chances are if you were at a camp site and you didn t have a device to control spikes it zapped your igniter board.
An rv furnace has an internal sail switch that will prevent the machine from igniting in cases of air flow being insufficient for combustion.

Several things can be checked for a cause in this case.
The ducts carry the heated air from the furnace to the interior of the rv.
