New Roof Has Ripples In It

Contractor stated it was normal because no roof is completely flat.

New roof has ripples in it.

They used peal and stick underlayment. I had my shingle roof replaced a couple of weeks ago using 25 year shingles and 30 lb. When some of the crowns are up and some are down then the roof has a wavy look but it is still structurally sound. If your roof has ripples you should be concerned.
